Cristina GalavÃs Sucre named partner at Estudio Antequera Parilli & RodrÃguez

It is a great pleasure to announce that after nine years of career at the firm, Cristina Galavís Sucre has been named a partner at Estudio Antequera Parilli & Rodríguez since this year.
Ms. Galavís holds a law degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where she specialized in International Economic and Integration Law. In 2007, she won a full scholarship co-sponsored by the Interamerican Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI) and the Franklin Pierce Law Center (Concord, NH, USA), which enabled her to attend the graduate program of the Law Center and earn her Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Commerce & Technology (LLM) in 2008.
We take the opportunity to welcome Joaquín Ignacio Núñez Landáez to our lawyer’s team. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Núñez was with Glaham Abogados and earlier in his career, he worked at Dineff Trademark Law Limited (Chicago, Illinois, USA) and in the trademark department of Clarke, Modet & Co. in Venezuela. He earned his law degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and his Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property at The John Marshall Law School (Chicago, Illinois, USA). He is experienced in trademark prosecution, prepares opposition, defensive, cancellation and nullity actions, and litigates first and second administrative appeals. Mr. Núñez also manages clients’ trademark and patent portfolios.
